Modes to attain an UG degree

The two most go-to choices of students for pursuing an undergraduate course are:

1. The regular mode of education: they are designed as full-time education. The student has to regularly attend the lectures in their colleges, submit regular assignments, and give periodic examinations. The study curriculum is in accordance with the governing authorities like the university or the college itself. A student is ought to follow the rules and regulations as laid by the governing bodies.
2. Distance learning programs: distance undergraduate courses on the other hand are in accordance with the students. A student can easily juggle between his UG and other part-time jobs if undertaken. The classes are held at frequent phases mostly online, but offline also.

Duration of UG courses

In India, the system of graduation can be classified into UG (undergraduate) and PG (postgraduate). Specifically talking about the UG courses, the duration varies from a maximum of five years to a minimum of three years.

• Four-year duration: this is the duration of courses in fields such as engineering, pharmaceutical courses, agriculture etc

Options to choose after completing UG

A student finds this as the most tedious and challenging job. The option of either pursuing a job or going for higher studies is a personal choice, which is dependent on a wide variety of factors like financial stability, passion, and any other circumstances.

1. Jobs: an individual could pursue a decent job in either the private or government sector as per their eligibility for the respective setups. This would enhance the awareness of the practical application of their studies.
2. Post-graduation degree: a student can choose to attain his post-graduation, to either do specialisation or go for professor level of the post. Candidates interested in studying further and deeply exploring their field should opt for higher studies.
